The Crucible is a play about human nature, about how the
best intentions can pave a road to hell, and about how easy
it is to look the other way.
Arthur Miller’s most dramatic and tragic play is as
relevant today as it was during the infamous Salem witch trials upon which the play is based. It is a steady and tragic
progression of small, seemingly harmless acts prompted by superstition, prejudices, preconceptions, politics and
human emotions.
We are delighted to be bringing this stunningly dramatic
production to Rugby Theatre’s stage.
