About

This film follows the story of Ricky, played by Kris Hitchen, and the struggle that his family have had with debt since the financial crash of 2008. They are a strong family unit who take up opportunities to overcome their situation, but the struggle for financial independence pulls them in so many different directions, that reaching breaking point seems inevitable.

Sorry We Missed You, offers a fuss free realism and takes you on a journey that is both fraught and touching. Nuneaton born, Ken Loach, the Director of ‘Kes’ and ‘I, Daniel Blake’, delivers his anticipated award-winning socially critical direction.
