About

Rugby Theatre commemorates the centenary of the Great War through the eyes of the highly esteemed sitcom “Blackadder Goes Forth’

Three classic episodes have carefully been selected of the much-loved sitcom series by Ben Elton and Richard Curtis to commemorate the centenary year. Demonstrating perfectly how tragedy can sit with comedy, Rugby Theatre audiences will not be disappointed in their expectation of realism & humour - delivered by characters that they know & love.

The series won wide spread acclaim on its release and was the winner of the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy series in 1989.
