Very few shows have the advantage of taking-off a television sit.com. The characters are well known and there will be an audience expectation to present them as truthfully as possible.

The show will comprise three staged episodes from the last series:-

You won’t be required to learn pieces for the audition, you will be expected to base your character on the above videos.

30 to 50 – Tall, Scheming

Private S Baldrick
30 to 50 - Small, smelly, pustular and above all, earnestly thick.

General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett, VC KCB
50 ish – heavily built, loud, childish, unintelligent, incompetent, upper class, pompous warmonger.

Captain Kevin Darling –
30 to 50 – tall slim, intellectual peer and bitter rival of Captain Blackadder.

Lt. The Hon. George Colthurst St Barleigh,
25 to 40 – Tall, likeable, a keen young lieutenant’.

Bobby Parkhurst (Female)
18 to 30 – General Melchett's driver,

Squadron Commander Lord Flashheart
25 to 40 - is a boisterous, arrogant swash buckler, roister-doisterer

Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig
40 to 60 - Arrogant, upper class

Baron von Richthofen
30 to 50 – German Ace Fighter-pilot

Oberleutnant von Gerhardt. (Doubles with Haig?)
40 to 60 – A German gaoler with a very cherman accent.
