Organisation
Trustees - These are
the legal owners of all the Society's property. They are responsible to
the Charity Commissioners for ensuring that the Society is run in
accordance with the aims in the Society's Trust Deed.
Theatre Directors - These four members of the Theatre are
appointed by the Trustees. They exercise powers delegated to them by
the Trustees and are responsible to the Trustees for all aspects of the
running of the Theatre.
Administration Director is responsible for holding all the Theatre's Licences, keeping the Theatre's statistics and liaising with organisations such as NODA and ABTT.

Artistic Director is responsible for the artistic integrity of our live productions. He chairs the Planning Meeting and is responsible for planning the future
programme of the Theatre and keeping an eye on the progress of every
Rugby Theatre event from start to finish. He is also the artistic representative for the Society, when dealing with external organisations.
Buildings Director is responsible for the maintenance of the
Society's buildings, arranging alterations and improvements to the
existing buildings and long term planning.
Finance Director is responsible for the overall control of the Theatre's funds and is also Chairman of the Operations Committee.

The Membership - Rugby Theatre is a working society with more than 500 active members. The membership is arranged into Groups with one Group responsible for each aspect of the Theatre's activities. The active members of each Group elect a Leader from their number once a year. It is this person who sits on the management committees. Members may move between Groups and may be active in more than one Group at any given time. Groups welcome new members, either from other areas of the Society or from outside. All members give their time and talents freely.

The Management - The Theatre is managed by various committees and Group meetings:
Operations Committee is chaired by the Finance Director and is
responsible for all aspects of running the Theatre buildings,
organisation and structure. It is attended by all the Directors, Group
Leaders and an elected independent member.
Planning Committee is attended by the Production Group Leaders.
It is chaired by the Promotions Director and is responsible for
establishing the Theatre's future programme of Live Shows, Films and
outside hirings.
Executive Committee is responsible for liaison between the
Theatre membership and the Trustees. It is attended by the Directors,
two Trustees and one elected independent member.
Group Meetings are held regularly by each of the Theatre's Groups to
keep their members informed of decisions made by Planning and
Operations Committees and to enable member's opinions to be taken back
to those Committees.
